"Value"

The universe cannot contain
The vastness of your throne,
Yet to our hearts you humbly stoop
To ask of us a home.

Unlimited, the wealth you bear--
Not bound by heav'n or earth
And yet it rests in souls of men
For you to measure worth.

How is it, Lord, that when our sins
Into your presence whirl,
You cloak them with the blood of Christ
And make of them a pearl?

What treasure can we be to thee
That you would stoop to ask
That we receive your blessed son
And aid him in his task?

Oh, Lord, bring us to fully make
Within our hearts a berth
That though our lives your Son may flow
That all might know your worth.
